I think it is possible. Another way to find out is to search for a prometric center, find the phone number, call them and ask them directly
2. How late can the registration be done ?
hmm.. I've done registrations 3 months in advance. I don't think there's any reasonable limit.

The authorized prometirc center I contacted told me that they needed a voucher and they couldn't get one for me from SUN. So, I needed to contact SUN first.

I think the only limit is the voucher itself as it expires after 4 months.

This feature I guess was only availale in USA. You can goto the Prometric testing center and buy the voucher but only in US. They were thinking of having this in other countries as well.It would be better if you just check it out. The voucher expires after an year.

I rang a (UK)prometric centre to book SCP and all they wanted was cash or cheque....(and cards I guess).
I need to revise my java stuff to retake as I failed first time!!

I did my exam in a UK Prometric test centre, and they wanted to know the details of my Sun voucher before I booked the exam. They were happy then to take a credit card payment and arrange the exam time over the phone. In fact, I changed the exam date about a week before I was due to take it and they were fine with this.
Good luck with the retake.
