Whizlabs or Enthuware's JQPlus?
I've read the Whizlabs review on this site. Whizlabs is quite pricey for a simulator. Any feedbacks?

Hi Allison.
When I was preparing for the SCJP, I studied from Dan Chisholm's mock exams, then Sierra-Bates, Khalid Mughal and Marcus Green exams, then Whizlabs and JQPlus then the Sun e-Practice exams.
In my opinion, the 11 Whizlabs exams are appropriate, reasonable, helpful, comprehensive, creative and imaginative. The exams include a variety of good thread questions. I found them to be so helpful, I worked through them twice.
In my opinion, some of the answers are not correct and some of the explanations are not correct or are not JLS consistent. There are typos, spelling errors and grammar errors. Even so, the explanations are in earnest and the intent of the explanations is clear. If you doubt any explanation, check it with whatever trusted book you are studying from.
I have read many posts in the Results forum of people who liked the JQPlus exams. In my opinion, they include quite a few unusual situations beyond the core fundamental knowledge. They provided me with more practice doing exams.
The three Sun ePractice exams are even more expensive. However, they and the Sierra-Bates exams have questions Very similar to the real exam. I worked the Sun exams 3 times over and on the morning before my exam, worked the Sun thread questions once more.
(In my opinion the Whizlabs, JQPlus and Sun ePractice exams all have errors and some questionable explanations.)

I am using JQplus full version its a very nice one, with a advanced freatures like, halting and getting back to tests later etc..
The Questions are bit tough, but its helping me a lot.
but Dan's its a must....... , even if u take any tests
Whiz labs is bit costly.

I agree with Vivek.
I bought Whizlabs, it was expensive and basically duplicated questions found on various web sources. I would have to say the best way to study for this test is to use the Sierra/Bates book and Dan's tests. I printed off all of Dan's exams and went through them , making notes along the way.
The way he explains the solutions to the questions is unprecedented, giving the student a plethera of information to chew on.
Save your money. Don't buy anything that you don't need.

I agree, Dan Chisholm's mock exams are the very best for helping us to secure a deeper understanding of the fundamental concepts and rules.
