I am working in a non-IT company, is the certification in java (scjp 1.4) can help me to get an entry-level position in any IT organization ? i am a computer science graduate.

The SCJP Certification cannot guarantee you a job. Whether or not it will help you get a job, possibly. You will definitely be benefitted, no two ways about that.

Hello Friends ! If anybody from New Delhi, please help me. Today, I've searched for exam voucher all over South Extension, but its not available. Somebody in NIIT prometric center told me that, voucher to be purchased from Sun Edu. Services, Bangalore only.. Please help me in this concern.

Many companies are getting away from IT certifications as a proof of capability.

However, If you can successfully pass the certification exam, you should be able to convincingly answer technical interview questions.

I agree that passing a certification test will help you pass a technical interview for a programmer position.

I think an important aspect of certification is the focused studying it encourages, especially with respect to corners of the language that you might not readily encounter (such as logical operators).
