Does any one know or can have an educated guess on the average score on the SCJP exam?

I have read that many fail but in the results forum everyone is getting 80-100%

I suspect that candidates getting 30% or 40% might be less inclined to post their scores.

My understanding is that Sun does not make this data public.

That's a good point.
I am just curious of how many people pass and fail

But this should be difficult to know, if not impossible.

I'm sure Sun has to have some sort of numbers on record. I bet they know exactly how many people are certified and what their scores were. How else would they know how to target questions in the future

Sun has never made pass/fail percentages or score averages publicly available.

Does the percentage of my score appears on the certificate, if I get through exam[SCJP1.4]?
