June first week I decided to write scjp 1.4 exam .
May I know exact content (like what are package ). Why because some of my friends
Say io package is there somebody say not. Please kindly let me know regarding this

If u have any pdf doc or any other material for scjp or if u have any mock exam simulator please kindly send to my personal mail id. Or say some use ful website for mock exam .

Hi Dhanesh

The only thing that you have to do for the exam is to buy the SCJP Certification Guide by Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates. That has everything, right from the objectives of the exam to realistic mock questions.

java.io is not a part of SCJP1.4. The objectives are very simple but the only thing is that you need to put maximum effort to score well. All the best.

And you can write questions available in Java Certificate also.It is also good.

Be confident enough in the pattern of questions that are asked in the K&B book after every chapter. Real exam has the same level of complexity. Dont forget to take the following set of mocks Dan's Site. All the best.

How many question ask for the exam.( I think it is 60) what is the minimum score?
Is there any negative mark ?

Every thing is clearly written in the book itself...There are 61 questions for the exam...you need to score atleast 31 correct that is 52% is the pass percentage...no negative marks...
