Hi All,
i am preparing for SCJP and m totally new to java. Anyone please tell me how to START...means how to schedule study. I have K & B book. Is it ok to start from this book. or any other book.

Thats a great book to go through !! and great to start with too.
Solve the questions after each section..Give those mock tests... but only after you feel completely prepared . but this is all standard advive.The KB is for SCjp 1.4 i dunno abt the 1.5
Visit this site often and try to solve the queries posted here.
Also go through the FAQ ..
I think 3 to 4 months should be sufficient to study for this test if you are new to Java, but that depends on how much time you have per day..
