Hi All,
Can anyone help me in this issue?

While browsing thru java certification pages at java.sun.com, I found a picture representing the various java certification exams in that i found, an entry level exam before taking SCJP. I just want to know whether we can take SCJP exam directly without taking this entry level test called "Sun Certified Associate for the Java Platform 2 Standard Edition".

Thanks in advance..
with regards

SCJP is direct entry. You do not need SCJA.
