What should i do SCJP 1.5 or SCJP 1.4 or SCJP 5.0

Good Afternoon Everybody,
I am planning to give some java certification but am confused with all these version which i found on this site.
Can some body please help me how to start and which certification should i give.
I have very good experience in java / j2ee but i have not worked on some concepts like AWT / Applets etc.. thread though i know thread concepts and all..
and we generally use exclipe or some sort of IDE so might not remember the api and all

Please give me direction how should i go about ...what is the first step ..
i dont know anything about java certification in the sense what question are asked ..which topic carries how much mark ..i would be thankfull to you if you give me directions

SCJP 1.5 is same as SCJP 1.4

sorry, i wanted to say SCJP 1.5 is same as SCJP 5.0 not 1.4.

Hi Dheeraj,

Keep in mind that in order to take some web, Java ME or any other specific java certification, you must take a basic SCJP first which is your entry point for all other java certifications.

SCJP is mandatory for all other java certifications, so, even you work with J2EE you will not be able to take any web certification before you get a SCJP certification.

Please take a look at Sun's certification chart. I think it will clear your question.
