Hi There,

How many days of preparation is enough for SCJP 1.4 to be passed if I can spend 3-4 hrs a day(I have K&B Book and Whizlabs Mock exams). I have (2 years of J2EE Exp (Java, Struts, Hibernate etc...)).Guys please give your inputs.

Thanks in advance

Sri

It varies by individual. If you have the WhizLabs exams, try the Diagnostic and Practice exams. Those should give you a pretty good idea of where you stand. I've heard if you are scoring 80% or better consistently, then you are probably ready...

Don't take the exam until you are scoring in the 80%+ on several practice exam.

If I did not have kids, family, friends, job. I could say 1-3 months.
It takes me about a year to be ready to take an exam(3 kids, nephews,.... life, job).

Remember on your death bed no one ever says, I wish I worked more. like everyone else you will say "I wish I had spent more time with my family".
