HEY guys!! i very Sorry to Say i failed the SCJP5 exam

hello Everyone!!
This is a day my life, had tought me a good lesson..
i took SCJP5 2day, n could not clear it..
i scored 50%.. 36/72 questions ..
I found many reasons of my stumble..
1. take Mock exams..
2.plan ur exam date,
3.u need lots of codding exp..
4.revision of topics regularly..
5.SCJP% covers alot of new concepts.. get acquired wit them, make friends..
6. Threads were tough qtions..
&7. last but not lesat"TAKE A GOOOD>>>> SLEEP !! the nite .BEFORE EXAM"

I WILL Rise n beat this Exam!! very Shortly..

Hi Mithun,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I plan to take the test soon and your advice is really helpful. I have found mock exams to be very helpful because they both exposed serious weaknesses and improved my concentration level and stamina.

JavaRanch is a really unusual place populated by a lot of genius candidates. It's important to remember that Sun sets the pass rate based on analyzing a HUGE sample of beta test takers. Sun sets this pass rate so that a large percentage of the candidates will fail (Sun won't say what the percentage is, but it's certainly at least 30% failure and my guess is that it's much higher than that.)

We don't often hear from the brave candidates who fail on their first try, so here at the ranch we tend to forget how hard these friggin' tests are!

Can u share how much difficult are actual exam questions comapred to mock exams , say berts/wizlabs etc.

Test results doesn't always reveal your true level as the difficulty of the questions in exam may vary from person to person.
