I had seen few threads about the same topic. The process is very slow. They need to have solutions for these issues.

Hi Ala'a,

I think that you should contact Sun and not waste time on this. Look on the Sun Certification website for an 800-number and ask for the person or department that you should contact.

I took the SCJP5 on Tuesday and was able to confirm on Wednesday , online, that my passing was properly recorded. I also was able to test the publish requester that allows other people to verify our certification results.

The entire process of posting my results on the web took place so quickly that I assume that it is automated.

Best of luck.
Steve

Hi Ala'a,

I might have misunderstood your question the first time I read it. Are you referring to receiving actual certificate or to there being any record of your having achieved certification, or something else?

Here is a little more on my experience, in case it helps:

Around 24 hours after I reported for the exam, I received an email from "who2contact@sun.com". It instructed me to verify or update my current mailing address and also warns that delivery of international mail can take up to 8 weeks. It is not clear, to me, whether the delay is due to international delivery issues or with the schedule of when certification kits being mailed to international candidates. The ability to know one's certification status seems to be independent of whether one is an international candidate or not.

You should be able to check the status of your certification in the "history" section of certmanager, after you log in.

If you have not received any email communication and/or the "history" section of certmanager does not show appropriate activity on your certification, you should definitely contact Sun.

Hope this helps.
Steve

Hi Ala'a,

On the certmanager screen, look for a hyperlink to "First Time Users"

Hi Ala'a,

It might be best for you to directly contact Sun. Look for the 800-number.
