Hi,
I have an applet which a bit heavy(lot of functions for an applet) so it becomes slow after a while of running in web browser,
I need to add an option which will allow the user to run the garbage collector in applet(same like what we have in jbuilder) named as enhance performance :-)
i know we can run the garbage collector from the applet console, but most users will not like to do it...
i m using jre1.4.0
any suggestions or code to guide me in doing this
