K&B SCJP 5 Book said
"Identifiers must start with a letter, a currency character ($), or a connecting character such as the underscore ( _ ). Identifiers cannot start with a number!"

My question is what are the other connecting characters except underscore ( _ )? Anyone can help?

3.8 Identifiers

I can't see any other connection characters.

Thnx, mate. It seems underscore is the only connecting charracter allowed to be the first charracter in a legal identifier...
