What do we exactly mean by "java system classes"? Are the classes in java.lang, java.util, java.io considered to be system classes? what about classes in the packages under javax directory?

[ Context : -esa and -dsa options of java ]

I found a reference to the System classes being those comprising the Java Runtime Environment: those like Object, String, List et c.
