Apex Systems, Charlotte, North Carolina

Apex Systems has 2 immediate openings as part of the development team in a large financial institution, within the Managed Services division. The senior level developer will assist with the design and implementation of various Managed Services. The initial focus of the role will be to assist in the design and implementation of a J2EE Managed service for CIBT.
General Duties:
*Learn the CIB development standards and teach them to others
*Mentor project teams and consult on CIB software development projects *Write reference sample applications and prototypes in support of strategic architecture initiatives.
*Help maintain existing products, such as the MegaService, reusable code and reference samples.
*Assist in writing and carrying out test plans, Create written and video training materials and publish them on the Developer University website. *Support and participate in change management and DSCM processes on behalf of team projects.
*Work with the Architecture team to understand evolving standards and how we can incorporate them in the environment (related to reference sample development; engage in research and development activities)

Skill and Experience Requirements:
*Experience with OOP, OOAD, UML, XML, XSD, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL (Especially experience creating XSDs).
*Helpful: XSD schema compilation, object serialization and deserialization *Experience with and understanding of the full software development life cycle, including release cycle and interaction with SCM processes. *Experience with reporting tools
*Understanding of transformation tools (such as ETL tools)
