I was wondering what the pass rate for the SCJP 5 was, if anyone here might know. Specifically the pass rate for taking the test the first time. Thanks.

Welcome to JavaRanch!

As far as I know, information about pass/fail ratios has not been made public.

I know this is kind of resurrecting the dead a bit here....but does JavaRanch have the capability to have this be a sticky/ongoing poll that was completely anonymous? I'm guessing Sun/Oracle never have/will release this, but it would be nice to just have a simple "did you pass on your first attempt" type question or a .... "on what attempt did you pass your exam" type question. It would be very unofficial and in no way verifiable (that I know of), but would at least provide some numbers and would be neat to see the results.

The same question(s) in the other levels of certification would be nice to see as well!
