you would probably end up using the javamail API. ------------------ In Gates we trust. Yeah right....

Karai, In order to send mail from a JSP you will probably want to set up at least one Java Bean(maybe more) with JavaMail API and have the JSP(s) pass to the bean(s) to pass the form data(i.e. TO, FROM, CC, BCC, Body of Message, ect). Depending of how complicated you wanted to make your bean you could hardcode alot of the mail server(SMTP name, ect) right into the bean itself or you could pass the information from the JSP to the bean as well. If you'd like send me an e-mail and I'll send you a JSP/Java Bean/Java Mail application which does both send and receive. It's a has pretty good internal documentation so you can understand what each part of the code is doing. Happy Trails, Travis Gibson www.travismgibson.com email@example.com
