Techies.com is specifically for programming/IT jobs and is very good.

thanks angela,
i tried to register over at techies but their site must
not like my current browser (beos net+).
i've found dice.com and headhunter.net to be the best so
far---altho, it remains to be seen if i get any nibbles.
computerjobs.com was a bust too.
monster.com didn't have many leads ( i know!? ).
hotjobs.com changed their format and doesn't seem so helpful anymore.
brassring.com wouldn't search for me.
javajobs.com had only a few leads.
...and the search continues...

Vault.com used to be good. don't know, if they're still operational, though. BTW, I was told that IT section of Monster.com has not been updated since March 16, 2001.
Good luck,
--Alex

headhunter.net. Post your resume and wait for replies.
Worked for me.
