Hi ,
i am planning to give SCJP 1.5. Can anyone tell me how to prepare for SCJP.
i am preety good in object oriented concepts but i know only basics of java.
so what is best way to study.Can i directly study from Kathy Sieera book or i have to study java thoroughly.

Yes..you can buy Kathy's books and start preparing. that's enough.

Hi

If you know basics of Java, I would really like you to give SCJA before SCJP. But still, if you want to give SCJP only, you can read initial chapters of Head First Java by same authors. Then you can move on to the Certification Study Guide by them. You have to practice a lot of codes for the SCJP exam.
