Dial Up Software Using Java

can Somebody help me in making a dial up software in java so that i can connect to the internet and transfer my self to PPP mode.

You may want to look at the JavaComm API (http://java.sun.com/products/javacomm/index.html), if that does not help, you will probably want to look into JNI. I have never run across any modem access APIs.

JavaComm is the only non-commercial package I know of. Should have all of the basic serial port management functions you need.

hi!
Well you will need java comm api and a sound knowledge of atcommands to talk to a modem.. I know a few to dial.. to a phone.. thru a modem.. but not to a computer.. for handshake and all. you will have to dig around..
