what is the current file format of the logo, and what do you want to change it to??

Have you tried to insert the image through Insert menu or did you try to copy paste it directly.. The first one is the correct way to do it.

If it still don't work, you can use Adobe Photoshop or ACD See to covert the file format with ease...

As far as I know, Word should be able to handle TIF files (TIF is a very common graphics file format). If it doesn't, you can try converting the TIF file to some other file format.

There are lots of free tools available to convert between image file formats. Use Google to find such a tool.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
