Well you can declare any number of import statements. This depends how many you need. Sometimes importing too many packages will result in naming clashes...

I think there is no such restriction on number of import statements in a source file. The only restriction is that import statement should be present after the "package" declaration and if it's not then import statement will be the first statement.
