Hi,

Just now I purchased SCJP 1.5 voucher from Sun's site.
They have sent me an email containing the exam voucher no.
Will they sent me a hard copy of teh voucher or this email will do?
With this no only shall I be able to go ahead and schedule the test with Prometric center? They said I'd require a prometric ID also..how to get that?

Please help...

Regards,
Debashree

I bought mine back in June during the "free retake" offer. I got an email with the voucher number on it.... but a while later, maybe two weeks, I got a hard-copy in the mail.

I lingered on a lot regarding the test ( never got confident enough that I could pass)..but this is a high time...as I am searching for job and this wud definitely give edge to my resume....

This november before Thanksgiving I will nail it down...

I should probably be ashamed to say it....but I have been working towards this for about 16 months...but NOT because it is giving me that much trouble. I, too, am trying to find permanent work but have been fortunate to have two long periods of contract work with a company near the space center here in Houston. With that work, I studied, then took a while to let my head clear. I am not wanting to pass by ramming answers in to my head, I want to pass by knowing the material and the concepts behind it. I'd rather make a 90 and know the material well than have 100 and forget the test answers in a months time!!!

But, like you, I am getting close to calling and scheduling the test...

Yeah..when first I though I should go for SCJP that time I was new to Java, having only 1 yr of working experience. I also believe in your concept i.e. to know the subject well....that's why I thought it is better to wait and gain at least 2 yrs of professional exp. first. But since then I procrastinated a lot! Now I am determined to finish it in next month...
when are you planning to sit for it?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
