sending loginid to email

hi...
i have a sign up page where user enters his name,address,email and password and his login id is sent to his email account..iam not able to figure out clearly how to send the login id to the user's email account..
can anyone give me some suggesyions..iam working on jsp and servlets

For sending mail you'll want to check out the JavaMail AP. That's better discussed in the Other Java APIs forum.
