Dear all,
I have written a java program that reads the filenames of all files in a particular directory and save them into a MySQL database. Unfortunately, the DB shows ??? in the table column for those files that have Chinese name. So, I want to know how can I tackle the problem? I heard that I can use java API to translate the text into UTF8 format before save the chinese characters into DB. What is the Java API to solve this kind of problem?
Regards,
Joe
