Since this isn't really about JSP per se, I'm going to move this to that forum.

A quick and easy way to SEND mail is with the free CSEmail packge: http://www.coolservlets.com/Email/
The .jar is very small and the usage of it is really simple. I use it in one of my Java apps (Nator - http://nator.filenabber.com).

Pretty straight forward. If you need more info search google for JavaMail.
You will need to download and install javax.mail and javax.activation.
