Footer Using JavaMail

Is there anyway to set a footer using JavaMail API?

Not clear what you mean.

Since JavaMail lets you put whatever you want in a message, appending a line with "----" and your signature, for example, should be trivial. Or make it fancier with a multipart MIME message. See the api documentation for example code.

I think the OP meant the use of signatures from the Server instead of the client itself.

ie. Suppose I have a signature in GMAIL as

Then the imap/Pop3 client too has the same signature.

by the way this problem is faced by me too, i have tried a couple of times in vain.
