please tell me how to retrieve email id from lotus notes address books using lotus notes java api

What version of notes are you using? Have you checked the notes documentation? Last time I coded for Domino databases, the documentation on the Java API was pretty decent, and mirror the LotusScript classes fairly decently - but that was 3 years ago? 4 years ago?

If no one has helped you by the time I get home this evening, I'll see if I have some of my old books. It's actually a pretty easy task to do IIRC
