getting this error in mandriva linux while playing any video

Unable to handle format: FFMPEG_AUDIO, 44100.0 Hz, 16-bit, Stereo, LittleEndian, Signed, 176400.0 frame rate, FrameSize=32 bits

video gets played successfully but no sound comes.
please help me

I'm not sure what kind of format FFMPEG_AUDIO is; check this page for supported media formats.
