Hi

I have a general doubt in Google Maps API.
I have not started with the development using the API, just doing feasibility analysis.

I find that to show a location using the API we need to provide a Longitude information. Is it not possible to do things without the API.

Suppose i have a test centres address in the DB and if i a candidate wants to register to a particular centre, cant i get the address from the DB ,search the Address using the API and show the location in the screen.

If this is possible please let me know how or some pointers to the same.

The Maps API has a Geocoder which converts street addresses into latitude and longitude.
