Saving gif file from inputstream

Hello there! I'm using HttpClient to fecth some images (I do have permission for those ) and then save them on filesystem. What I was doing so far is getting the inputstream and saving it:

GetMethod method = new GetMethod("http://acme.com/servets/ImageGenerator");
client.executeMethod(method);
writeFile(method.getResponseBodyAsStream(),fileName);
 
private void writeFile(InputStream input, int fileName){
OutputStream out = null;
try {
out = new FileOutputStream(new File(fileName+".gif"));
byte[] buffer = new byte[1024];
int length = 0;
while((length = input.read(buffer)) > 0){
out.write(buffer,0,length);
}
} catch (FileNotFoundException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
} catch (IOException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}finally{
try {
out.close();
} catch (IOException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
}

}
 

Well, but that its just not working (When I try to open, viewers complain about wrong headers). How can I save those images on my filesystem?

Sorry, the problem was within the commons http client, was not authorized, really sorry. forget about this
