I have a problem while accessing Oracle database from JSP.
The query works fine, when I directly execute at the Oracle 8.1.6, SQL prompt, But it gives the following error when I try the same query from a JSP page.
ORA-01009: Missing mandatory Parameter
Why is this happening? i subsituted the variables wh=ith constants in the JSP page, even then it returns the same error.
I am using Classes12.zip.
Can anybody help me out.
Thanks in advance,
Venkat.

Can you specify the query and the Java code which you have written to connect.
Also, firstly try with a simple query to know that wether there is problem with query or environment.
Check wether classes12.zip is there in the classpath or not.

Thanks for the help.
I just got it, I do not get the exact reasoin.
My query goes like this (.......) union (.....) . The same query worked at the SQL promrt but got struck in JSP.
I got the result when the braces are removed, I am not sure why this is working now.
