For the most part, setting up SSL depends on your container. All your JSP's have to do is request a page using the https protocol instead of http.
Which servlet container are you running? I have only setup SSL with Tomcat.

Sure...
If your running Tomcat 4 standalone it is very easy. Just follow the instructions from their website.

Tomcat 3.3 (I've never tried)

If your running Tomcat under a webserver like Apache or IIS, then you should configure SSL in your webserver and not Tomcat.

i m runing Tomcat 4.0 and not under any webserver.. it's not standalone just in intranet
so what next i need to do..
pls help.
