jsp is not executing in tomcat

hi rancher,
i have installed tomcat , servlet is executing but jsp is not executing .

please help me.

Are youputting the .jsp at the end of the request? You dont need it with servlet but you do with JSPs so people often forget them when using both.
If that's not the case then lets us know a bit more about the problem. directory structures, class names, the address you entered into the browser, etc...

i have installed tomcat in c:\tomcat directory , in my system jsdk is also installed in the same location, i have written the jsp and seved in my context c:\tomcat\webaps\myflodername, then i start tomcat in my ie i have given http://localhost:8080/myflodername/a.jsp but its not executing , then i was trying to execute the jsp examples which is given in tomcat even that is also not executing , Dave please help me dear.
