Originally my code said:
<%if (JetspeedResources.getBoolean("bottomnav.enable") == true) {%>
I wanted to use:
<c:if test="('JetspeedResources.getBoolean("bottomnav.enable")'!=null)">

</c:if>
Wel that did not work also I wanted to do something maybe like this as well:
<c:set var="a" value="JetspeedResources.getString('topnav.logo.file')"/>
This only sets the variable to exactly what you see and not the value.
JetspeedResources is stemming from this import:
<%@ page import = "org.apache.jetspeed.services.resources.JetspeedResources" %>

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
