I am looking for a java/jsp/servlet ISP host for
my web site. Does anyone have any recommendations
on a good host? Any past experiences?

How do these hosting services handle such things as restarting Tomcat (e.g. I've uploaded a new Bean and want to see it work)? I've been using A+ Web Hosting, and their policy is to restart Tomcat once every evening at midnight. Is this standard for most services?

Each hosting services sets their own policies and pricing. I bounced around a lot of hosting services until I landed at mmaweb. Since each account has a private JVM, I can start and stop Tomcat at my own whim.

I've been happy with lunar pages (www.lunarpages.com). They run resin, with hot deploy so you don't need to ask for restarts.
