Hii,
I want to upload file using jsp to the server. But before upload file i want to check the file size on the client side and check if the file size is more than the allocated space to the perticular user than shows some message on the client browser.

Thank u,
Regards,
Vrushank

Since JSP is a server-side technology, and you want a client-side solution -- this really isn't the place any answers. Looks like you're needing a JavaScript solution or something similar. (JavaScript's security paradigm won't just let you go peeking around clients' hard drives though).

Yeah, I don't think it can be done at all. But certainly there's no JSP/Servlet solution.

Its very glad to here that you have solved it on server-side. But pal I dont think there is any method to check this on client-end.

Ah, good ol' Internet Explorer -- violating civil rights, one browser at a time.
