Hi ,
Pls beware of accepting any offer from Kanbay.
I have seen personally 2 cases.
1) My friend got offer for Kanbay, Hyderabad. After joining immidiately , he was asked to shift to Pune with same salary. Kanbay did not bother about his personal problems eventhough he explained his problems and tried to convince the Kanbay to stay in Hyderabad.
2) My another friend got offer and about to join the Kanbay. But Kanbay took back the offer as one of his references in his previous company has not responded to kanbay eventhough Kanbay has sent mails to his references.
So pls beware of joining Kanby.

Its Kanbay man,not Kanby. .Their website says "we are the best places to work according to Computerworld's listing". .Few of my friends are also there in Pune but they have never complained about these types of issues.Atleast once in 4 months Kanbay conduct interviews in varuous cities with good looking HR women conducting written tests in some good hotels.

I don't think.Many organizations(atleast in India) give importance to looks while hiring HR(and sometimes technical too) people.If you are good looking female with whatever the criteria for job,then chances of your selection are more than average looking woman with same qualification.Is this practice followed everywhere?Go to big banks like HSBC/HDFC/icici,you will come to know.Go to big IT shop,you will come to know.

It enjoys a good reputation in Pune.

Don't think this just happens in India.
Some years ago, I interviewed at Avon, which mostly sells cosmetics. The HR person was the most beautiful woman I'd ever met. I spent the interview thinking about asking her out once I worked there.
