I have got offer from lesser known banglore based consultancy service of 3.5 lacs.
Initially my posting would be in mumbai and after six months completion of the project it would be in banglore.
But I am concerned about accomodation in mumbai,as I know accomodation in mumbai is pretty costly,my office would be nearby Dader.
As company is not paying anything for accomodation,I need to take care of it myself.
Can you suggest me how much 1 BHK would cost in mumbai and how much is brokerage in nearby area, also the security money.
Currently I am settled in delhi, and soon getting married ,after marriage i would switch for this job.

Don't plan to live in Dadar, its beyond capacity of common man(and quality wise hopeless). There are two options.Dadar is central part of Mumbai. On western side, you can choose to stay at (Borivali,Kandivali or after Borivali like Mira Road,Bhayandar etc).Andheri is also another option but again costly.(6000 for 1BHK).Area between Dadar and Andheri will be too costly for rent .
On central side, you can try at Vikhroli,Ghatkopar,Bhandup etc. These areas are not so 'modern' but should be satisfactory considering that you will be there only for 6 months.
In both options, you will have to travel through jammed packed local trains. If you start early for the work, lesser will be the crowd.
See Mid-day classifiedsor Mumbai edition of Times Of India.

yeah, thanks Capablanca ,exactly it is in viley parley east, somebody told me it is nearby dader.
so where I must take the accomodation for me and my wife ,basically I am looking for 1 BHK with decent locality, and rent around 4-5k not more then it.
Also should I negotiate with the company regarding the brokerage and security money for accomodation or not.

Its Vile-Parle(E),but still its bit costly than areas which I specified. But area is descent(I stay there when in Mumbai!!)From Dadar its 12 KM ,20 minutes by local train. If you get between 4 to 5 then I think it should be fine.

Capablanca,
I know you're familiar with the naming policy, and "Rancho Redondo" doesn't meet it.
