I have an array list with over 5000 elements and am having trouble displaying it on a JSP page. It gets truncated for some reason.

The follwing is how I am dispalying it on my jsp:

{ArrayList a1 = package.StaticClass.getValues(); %>
<td>Field:<input:select name="test" bean="TestBean" "optionLabels="<%= a1 %>" optionValues="<%= a1 %>" /> </td>

Could I be running into some memory issues? Any ideas?

Thanks.

It could be that the browser is timing out your connection.
You could also be running into memory issues on your client.

Why are you trying to display so many rows at one time?

I'd look into breaking up the data into pages and/or giving your users filtering capabilities. 5000 records is far too much data to assimilate at one time.

The user can select a value from the list box and hence all the available values need to be displayed.

Yes, looks like this one does need a change of horns. Unfortunately, the original application in PowerBuilder is able to do it, I have that matador to fight!
