Software Jobs In Dallas

My wife and are thinking of moving from Wichita, KS to Dallas Texas assuming the jobs sittuation is better. My wife is c# programmer and is currently working part time. She had lots of interviews(all over the US) but no bites so far.. we were thinking if we moved to a major city.. she could use it as a spring board. I am hoping to graduate with my MS in compsci in Dec.. with some Java certifications(which I am working on)and an ASIC background. So basically how is the software/hardware job sittuation in Dallas?
