I want to change from Cold Fusion MX to J2EE but I also have alot of people that want to use PHP instead of J2EE as a choice.
We have Unix an Windows web servers.

Please advise advantages of JSP,Servlets over PHP.

I know both PHP and J2EE are free. Probably going to use JBoss container or Tomcat container with J2EE. J2EE seems to have better Security management and session management? What other features of J2EE that I can provide as an advantage over PHP?

Since MX is Java based I assume my transfer from Cold Fusion to J2EE will be another advantage with Java over PHP?
