class and java file corressponding to a jsp

Hi All,
I would like to know how's a jsp page covert into a servlet and where is
the .class file and .java store in webapplication . And how a
web.xml find these servlet name and servlet class name.
please tell me the internal details about application server.
I am using weblogic 8.1 application server.

You can view how generated servlet class looks for a JSP? using LOMBOZ plug-in, If you use Eclipse IDE.
