How can I let the users to talk with each other over the web?

Dear friends,

I need to let the users to talk with each other over the web for a web based application using JSP and servlet. What should I do...??
I've searched google but could not found a source code that let me to add this feature to this project.

Please guide me or introduce some resources on the net...I don't have much time...any idea from your side would be greatly appreciated !

When you say "talk", do you mean voice chat or text chatting?

sorry I actually need both; but I don't have problem with text chatting.. I need to know more about "voice chatting."
...any idea? suggestion? resource? ...anything?

The Java Media Framework is where you will find audio related toolkits.

One thing to understand is that that Servlets (and thus JSPs) operate over HTTP which is a stateless protocol.

Voice chat requires a client that can maintain a statefull connection with the server. This means that, to do this with Java, you would need to look into applets.
