Hi Mindy,
When it comes to Java Stored Procedures, Callable Statements and Java Triggers, I believe Oracle is supposed to be the best in it.While preparing for their IDE (JDeveloper) test, I has practised on Callable Statement.
Hope the following example is relevant for you.I have used SQLJ instead of JDBC.Hope you are familiar with it.If not, please let me know.
The Java Stored Procedure to be called by Java Application is as follows :

The Java Application which calls the above stored Procedure is as follows

Hope this helps,
Sandeep

Thank you so much Sandeep! Your examples are really helpful. May I ask you a few more questions? You're a Sun certified and i bet you have good experiece in preparing for the exam. I am planning to take the exam too, however, I wish i can get some study guides or tips ( book and resource site).

Thanks! Happy programmer!
Mindy
