iam having good exposure to java and also got certified as
java 2.0 programmer by sun. iam right now staying in new york
and was in a search for job. as ejb is hot topic these days i've
gone through this concept. in fact i've studied almost the whole
book 'mastering ejb' by ed roman. i got most of that concept but
i did'nt implement any of that code. please tell me a best way
to start practising ejb concepts.

This is what you do
1. Download the BEA weblogic server 5.1 from www.bea.com for 30day trial for free. Then whatever beasn you have read/understood from ed roman book try to deploy them on weblogic server and see it it works.
Deploying your EJB is also an important aspect of EJB. Also bea packages some examples see em also. I bet this will keep you busy for a while.

The JRun server can be downloaded and used on an unlimited basis for development. It is limited to three connections but that is plenty for development.
