I am using Oracle 8 database .My application is in
Java and it uses
JDBC thin driver(classes12_01.zip) for database connectivity.
Oracle 8 Server is installed on Japanese O.S . One of the tables contain japanese special characters. However when the program tries
to fetch these characters using select query, following characters are getting garbled.
'㌔㌘㍑㍉㌢㍍' , ①Ⅰⅰ
However if same table is in Oracle 8i then all the characters are getting retrieved properly.
Can anybody please guide me on above matter?
