java.sql.SQLException: Communication link failure: java.io.IOException, underlying cause: Unexpected end of input stream
This is the error I get when I try to run the program to build my table. Does this look familiar to anyone? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

What version of the JDBC driver are you using? I think there was a bug in version 2.0.11 that produced that error message.

I have version 1.0.0. Should I upgrade?
