I am looking for something that I don't know if exists or not. I am working on a web app where I will be using a Connection Pool of some sort. Problem is I don't want to write configs for several different app servers. So I was thinking that there might be a Connection Pool project of some sort that works independent of the app server. Maybe something that allows you to config it in the web.xml file and I could pull a DataSource from the Session or App Context.

Does anyone know of anything like this? Open Source/Free would be a bonus as I am working on an Open Source project. Thanks.

Thanks for the link. That would probably help if I wanted to write what I am looking for.
