hi ranchers,
I want to share the feelings of no work situtations for IT guys specially the starter one.I also face this prob on just start of my proj (no work or very little work situation).this is really very bad exp.how was ur exp..?

It is quite normal in IT ( in India ) . Many times u would be doing nothing and many times u will be working for 12-14 hrs like donkey .

donkey works for 12-14 hrs a day? may be not.

ya many times it happens mainly beacuse the design wasn't ready so you have nothing to code and then you will get all the requirements with just 1 week before the release..so you have to a lot of night outs..
anyway enjoy ur idle times it won't last long..

Has any body mentioned specific jargon (term) for this is on bench.
